About the Author
Albert Uderzo was born in 1927 in a small village in Marne, France. He met Rene Goscinny in 1951 and on 29 October 1959 their most famous creation, Asterix,made his first appearance on page 20 of PILOTE. ASTERIX THE GAUL, their first album, was published in 1961 and there have now been 35 Asterix albums. Illustrator Didier Conrad was born in Marseille in 1959. He moved to America after his style got him noticed by Disney and Dreamworks, and in 1996 he designed the characters and storyboard for the 2000 animated film THE ROAD TO EL DORADO.Jean-Yves Ferri lives in the Ariège area of south-western France. Before writing the 35th Asterix album, he worked on the famous series Le Retour à la Terre, as well as the adventures of a police officer named Aimé Lacapelle. I was very skeptical with all the bad reviews here and had no hope when the seller was selling a ‘used – very good’ set for 10k when the least price was 13k+ by all others.However super happy I had taken this leap of faith and although the external book had probably been somewhat damaged earlier and taped up (which I mended a bit more and I can absolutely love with), inside all books were intact and super 👍 thank you Bansal – vLuv products Bookseller

The set of Asterix is totally amazing. I used to borrow them from a library when I was a kid. Today I own my own collection and I am proud of it. The rate that I purchased them is also totally awesome.

This is the complete Asterix set, except that even after the death of the authors they are still publishing more books (this set is complete as of 2020).

The set was good . Though the box in which it was packed was damaged completely. None the less the books were in immaculate condition so very happy

The quality of paper used is good. However I think the font size is a bit small. Also, the box says 39 titles (38 + 1 free) but there wasn’t a free one.

Just like I remember them!Asterix and Obelix sure withstand the test of time. They are more fun now than when I first read them decades ago. Many people have commented on the print size and paper quality. For me, these are not issues. I highly recommend this set.
