Reading books like Warrior Saints makes one realize how rich yet unexplored …As with previous Kashi House publications I have had the fortune to read, Warrior Saints too surpasses any and all expectations and takes the reader back centuries. The history given prior to the artwork was extremely well written and informative. The sources were perfectly chosen and some were from scriptures that the ordinary person may not have access too. It’s interesting how Bhai Gurdas Ji’s Vaaran are commonly recited in Gurdwaras, yet their historical translation gives the reader a whole new perspective. These things make Kashi House publications stand out and are a step in a more accessible and understanding direction. As always, most of the artwork shown is unknown and unaccessible to the ordinary Sikh, but through Warrior Saints it is opened to the masses. Reading books like Warrior Saints makes one realize how rich yet unexplored Sikh history truly is.
