I loved the writting. The way story progressed. You can love her, hate her but you can’t ignore evelyn hugo. Must read for a book lover, it was engaging. Will pick soon another one of this author.♥️

  2. Ushas

This is a great book. Initially felt a bit bored considering the Hollywood queen and the drama was not something I was keen on , however soon the story turned into amazing life journey. Especially the last portions of the book kept me up reading it in one go.

  3. Maria Nicotero

It’s a story about a Hollywood heroine, her struggles, her story of fame, how life unfolds and ofcourse her marital and love life. It’s a well written book.

  4. aastha verma

An engaging page turner – raw and sensational yet honest and vibrant. I loved being in Evelyn and Monique’s world.

This is my first contemporary romance and historic fiction and it was just fabulous.Book is about life journey of Evelyn Hugo and how she became superstar. A lot has been written about the book but the things that i absolutely loved it is the character of Evelyn, she has flaws but she is absolutely superb.Story is beautiful, the old school Hollywood Glamor is beautifully written, and the secret love of Evelyn and Celia St. James is truly breathtaking and heartbreaking.

  6. Udita Singh

Extremely nuanced writing which covers all the shades of being human. It ensures that you marvel at the grit of the character and also sympathise for the choices she makes, ensuring that you would want to mirror some of that resilience.

  7. shrey khetarpal

I picked this one after a heavy book and it helped… it was refreshing, fast paced and thoroughly entertaining. It appears shallow at the start with its Hollywood setting but has a heart.

  8. Ms.Manners

I am personally disappointed with the hype created around this book. I did not like the jarring story telling. At the end it seems like the author was in a rush to end the book. Not worth it

Easy light read with a good story.I thought this book was well written, a page turner and a great read for relaxing. It does not ask anything from you and entertains. I enjoyed it very much.
