I ordered this for my 4 year old niece and she loved it. It’s kids friendly, very easy to use and has good range of shade. The quality of these pens is very good. exceeds beyond me expectation. Very good pick at this rice point

I bought this color pen set for the first time and absolutely loved it. What I like the most is how easy is to keep because of the connector. The color options are neatly wide, and I like it. I would say though it’s not very smooth of you use it for color filling, it does get smudge if you double coat it. So, there you have to be careful and also you can’t order just one, it has to be two set minimum to be delivered. Thats the drawback. Otherwise, it’s good overall.

I’d have given it another star on the basis of first impression (I still have no idea how long the ink will last), but I can’t because of a manufacturing defect in one of the 15 pens. The fluorescent green pen had its nib missing. It wasn’t lying loose inside the cap, or the main body, so it just wasn’t there. Perhaps Faber-Castell should be more alert in their quality checking. Just because its an inexpensive product is no excuse. I can’t blame the seller or Amazon, for it was delivered well-packed and in time.As regards the pens: I like how they feel while drawing. They have that right amount of resistance (if you know what I mean) that drawers prefer, rather than being too soft and easy on the flow. Normally, sketch pens behave best when they have run out of a bit of ink. Its easier to control the shading then. I think with this set, control is easy right from the start.I also like that there are two blacks, which makes it useful. Blacks are generally used more than the others. The light green is actually different from the rest in that its almost an opaque, neon green – kind of like what you have in highlighters. The lighter blues are a bit too close as regards shade, in my opinion. Perhaps, the lightest blue could’ve been a little lighter. However, they do have options like sets of 25 or more pens, so one will have a requisite spectrum in those.Watersolubility – they aren’t all that watersoluble, which may/mayn’t be to everyone’s liking. However I don’t mind that they are only very gently watersoluble. In fact, it takes some time for the pigment to spread around/merge a bit, after passing a moist brush over an area. After drying out, one can then put a second layer of marking in order to recover definition in the drawing. In all, except for that slight hitch of a nib-less pen, which makes it unusable, I like this set, have enjoyed using it in my preliminary trials.

Great QualityCan’t recommend these highly enough. Great selection of colours and they have had lots of use. My girls love the fact that they can make things with the lids. They wanted them as they had seen them on the Bluey programme

Good qualityPens coloured well with no drag on paper dull as well as shiny. Pen connector easy to use and write with. Colours are quite nice on the whole. Majority are strong clear colours just a couple are weaker. Overall a decent pack of felt pens though not of the high high quality I’ve come to expect of Faber-Castell.
