Poorly Edited and DocumentedI ordered by mistake (Amazon page load issue resulted in purchase when sample download was intended).Upon reading the first chapter, the text is laden with jargon, superlatives, and unneccesarily flowery language. English is not the first language of the authors; while I have no issue with that in itself, Springer obviously made no attempt to remedy poor grammar and language in a book clearly intended for english-speaking markets.Additionally, the authors present figures and information without proper references–for example, noting information came from “a notable paper from Intel,” inline with the book text, is about the best citation the authors made.I commend the authors for assembling a large array of information, but credibility and intelligibilty of the text is significantly diminished by poor writing and editing.
